What To Expect

We believe that worship is what we humans do every day. Whether you sacrifice to an idol, a volcano, a job or a cause, you worship something. As Christians we have the privilege of finding in Christ our greatest joy and the satisfaction of our deepest longings. So it is with joy and reverence that we gather together every week to worship as a community.

We don't expect people to wear certain types of clothes or be able to sing in tune.

What we do expect is for people to come ready to offer to God all their affection, adoration, service and praise.

As a part of our worship services we

  • confess our sin together,
  • revel in the assurance of God's pardon,
  • sing our praises to him,
  • give him our tithes and offerings,
  • gather around the Word of God and
  • often participate in the celebration of the Lord's Supper and the sacrament of Baptism.

We are a very eclectic group, and the way in which we express our worship demonstrates that. While some people "enjoy worship" in different ways than others, our primary concern is that God himself enjoys our worship!
