We are a community called to image Jesus Christ in his renewing of all things.

"The church is central to God's plan of salvation. God saves people into a new community, which is the vanguard of a new humanity. To be called to Christ is to throw in one's lot with his people."

Small Groups

Through transformational groups we connect adults so that they grow in Christ, care for one another, and serve the world.

Adults have much to invest in the Kingdom of God. That’s why we want to help men and women develop gospel-oriented life skills, grow in their understanding of God, and live a life of sacrificial love through service to those around them. As adults grow in their maturity, we look forward to seeing them walk alongside other men and women of all ages and be able to say with the Apostle Paul, “Follow me as I follow Christ.”

We have single or mixed gender small groups designed to facilitate fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and encouragement as you share life together and help one another live like Christ.

If you have any questions about connecting with a small group, contact the church office at 757-539-0540.

Connection Classes

Our Sunday morning classes are designed to connect you with Biblically based teaching while connecting you with people in a smaller setting. Through interactive teaching, table discussion and a time of prayer, you will have the opportunity to grow in grace and truth as you cultivate relationships with a group of people.

These 75 minute classes will start with refreshments while members catch up in fellowship with one another. The interactive teaching and discussion will follow and the classes will close with time for prayer around tables, allowing members to hear one another and pray together.
