Brett Carl
Pastor for Missions![]() I serve at Westminster as the Associate Pastor of Missions. I was born in Chicago, then moved to Grand Rapids at an early age. While I was attending a boarding school called Cushing Academy in Massachusetts for my Junior and Senior years of high school, a bus driver and janitor befriended me and led me to Christ at the age of 17. I attended Hillsdale College and graduated with a B.A. in Christian Studies and a minor in Music in 1994. While at Hillsdale, I was very involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and led small group Bible studies as well as large group worship. After college, I attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and graduated in 1997 with a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Biblical Studies. After seminary, I served at Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church as a youth director for two years and then came here to Westminster in August of 1999 with my wife, Debra. We have 3 beautiful daughters, Caitlin, Riley, and Addison. I had the privilege of being ordained as a teaching elder in the PCA in February of 2000. |
