Ministry

Ministries In Action is a non profit, interdenominational, Christian missions organization that serves the Church throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, and North America. In existence since 1961, MIA helps churches bear a more authentic witness to Jesus Christ through the following ministries:

• Evangelism and Church Growth (MIAS)
Training and mobilizing church leaders in the effective use of Small Groups, Friendship Evangelism, Direct Witness, Public Witness, Discipleship and Evaluation.

• Theological Training (IONA)
Certificate through Masters level programs of study onsite in the language of the learner.

• Mercy Ministries (Project Ebenezer)
Social and Economic development in needy communities including Service Projects (Building Churches, Schools, Clinics, Low Income Housing, Day Care Centers) and Biblical Free Enterprise Endeavors that create meaningful jobs in developing countries.

In obedience to Jesus Christ’s mandate to Do and Teach, Ministries In Action completes its mission by connecting churches with resources to those without. We send work teams as well as short-term and full-time missionaries into areas of need and assist pastors and leaders in various countries. MIA owns no real estate anywhere in the world; everything we do is through ongoing relationships with local churches.
