Andy Wood is a graduate of VA Tech, receiving a business degree in 1999.  From there, he went straight into ministry.  He was a youth pastor for five years in Richmond, VA before heading to St. Louis for seminary at Covenant Theological Seminary.  In December 2007, after graduating, he moved to Raleigh, NC to be an Associate Pastor at Redeemer  Presbyterian  Church.

He married Amy, a graduate of Texas Christian University, in August of 2003.  They have  2  energetic  boys,  Josiah  (age  3)  and Cooper (age 1), and baby #3 (a girl!) due at the beginning of August.  They love spending time outdoors, running, reading, being with friends, and rooting for the Hokies and the St. Louis Cardinals.  Andy also enjoy bluegrass and playing the guitar and mandolin.
