Missions Conference

Each fall WRPC hosts our Mission Conference. On this weekend, and during the preceding week, we host a number of our mission partners, both from local organizations and missions around the world. The intent is to provide an opportunity for our congregation and community to meet with these individuals and gain a better understanding of the work we engage in for Christ. It is our hope that personal engagement with these mission partners will encourage and challenge us all.

It is firstly our desire that everyone at Westminster engage in Missions as they pray, act, influence and give. We encourage everyone to take action, get involved and let God guide your steps. Imagine what Suffolk and the world would look like if every one of us were engaged. Our conference will present practical ways to make a difference as you get involved.

Every year the people of Westminster pledge money to give to Missions which funds the work that we do. In order to sustain the amazing work accomplished by our missions, we need to reach our goals. To continue our current obligations we need $340,000. We frame our budget around the Faith Promises made by the congregation. We have mailed out Faith Promise Cards to the congregation and will have them in services through 3 weeks after the conference. Please prayerfully consider how you are able to help support our missions work.
