At Westminster

There are so many ways to get involved and participate at Westminster! Whether you'd like to serve in a single day project, monthly, or weekly, we can help you contribute to the Church body in a way that is fulfilling, engaging, and helps you build relationships.

There are literally dozens of ways to get involved at Westminster, ranging from a few hours once a month to every Sunday. Whether you're an introvert, extrovert, artisitc, or gifted in organizing, you can serve the body of Christ in some way. Please don't hesitate to contact the office with any questions on how you could build relationships through service.

Volunteer Opportunities

Night Stay homeless shelter

The Coalition Against Poverty in Suffolk (CAPS) provides shelter for those experiencing homelessness during the cold winter months. Coalition churches rotate hosting the Night Stay Program and Westminster will host from November 28-December 5th. The church is open from 6:30pm to 7am nightly. The host church provides shelter, meals, resources, security and fellowship to those experiencing homelessness. All services are provided by volunteers. If you would like to support this ministry, follow this link to see the open volunteer opportunities.
