The World

Missions is to be an integral part of the true church. God’s design is that his Kingdom expands to encompass the whole earth.

The World Missions Team seeks to engage our congregation with a heart for the nations. Along with members from the church, the team participates in international mission projects and missions conferences across the country to help equip our people.

One of the four missional fronts at Westminster is to "Reach the Nations." We do this in part through the support offered to ministry partners across the globe: 7 in Latin America, 9 in Europe, 1 in Sub-Saharan Africa, 11 with Global Muslim Ministries, and 5 in Asia.

We want to see more gospel truth sent into the world however. This is why we're particiipating in the 1% challenge issued by Mission to the World, the outreach arm of our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America. This challenge aims to have 1% of all PCA members answer the call to serve in cross-cultural missions by the year 2026. This would bring forward mor ethan 2,800 workers to serve across the globe! Imagine what could happen if this goal was met: How would the face of this globe change? How many unreached people groups would hear the gospel? How many new churches would be planted?

Please join us in praying that God would bring members from Westminster forward to be part of the 1%.

Mission Trip to Israel & Palestine

A team from Westminster will be going to work with a church partner ministering to the Muslim community in the West Bank. The trip will take place from November 8-17th, 2019. The team will meet our mission partner in Tel Aviv and spend 3-4 days working with Baraka Presbyterian Church helping with light construction, the nursery school they run for neighborhood children, and visiting Hope House, a home they run for special needs children and adults in the community. The remainder of the trip will be spent walking where Jesus walked and visiting sites in Jerusalem.
