Mothers of Preschoolers

About MOPS/MomsNext

Here at MOPS, we gather moms. All moms. So, whether you are a soon-to-be mom, first-time mom, or seventh-time mom, you are welcome here. Whether you are an adoptive, young, seasoned, foster, step, or any other type of mom, you are welcome here. Whether you prefer to meet with other moms in a coffee shop, church, park, living room, or video chat, we have something for you.

We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. We build circles of moms who love each other like family. Our gatherings are where moms can meet to share their hopes, fears, and insights, in a format that works with their schedules. We rally women together to help them become more brave, kind, and honest, one gathering at a time.

Our Meetings- THREE Groups to meet your needs

Morning MOPS - moms of littles who are available to meet during the morning

MomsNext- moms of school-age children who are available to meet during the morning

Evening MOPS- moms of children any age who prefer an evening meeting time

We have two groups that meet in the morning and one that meets in the evening to accommodate as many moms and possible. Morning MOPS and MomsNext meet together on the first and third Thursday of hte month during the school year, from 9:30-11:30a.m. Evening MOPS meets the second Wednesday of the month during the school year from 6:30-8p.m. At our meetings you'll enjoy food, fellowship, games, speakers, crafts, small group discussion, and quality childcare.

While you enjoy yourself in our MOPS/MomsNext meeting, your children are cared for by dedicated and qualified Westminster volunteers. The MOPS kids ministry is not just two hours of babysitting. Children are divided into age-appropriate groups and enjoy stories, crafts, games, singing, and other activities. If you are ever needed for any reason, a MOPS KIDS worker will notify you.

Dues and Fees

Morning MOPS and MomsNext dues are $72 (16 meetings)

Evening MOPS dues are $40 (8 meetings)

Mid-year registrations may be pro-rated.

These dues help defray the cost of childcare, crafts, and other meeting expenses.  In addition, you get membership to MOPS International, which includes a welcome kit of goodies, access to the MOPS blog, and other great online and print resources.

We at MOPS believe that money should never prevent a woman from finding community, so we have scholarships available for any mom who finds herself in need.

To Help

If you or someone you know would like to support our ministry, there are many ways to help!

Childcare: We are currently recruiting both MOPS KIDS childcare workers (for preschool children) and supervisors for MomsNext homeschoolers (school-age children). We provide free training, and each additional childcare worker allows up to six more moms to attend our meetings.

Mentor Mom: Any mom who loves Jesus, wants to be an encouragement to other moms, and has walked the road slightly ahead of the rest of us, is welcome at our table as a mentor.

Financial Support: If you would like to support this ministry by providing a scholarship for a mom in need, please contact us using the information below.
